Late Registration Fee

All students not registered during registration week must have the Dean of the School of Medicine consent (authorization) for a late registration. Late registration is only allowed during the first week of class. A late registration fee of $100.00 will be charged.

Financial Obligation

Tuition is due upon registration for classes. Students are encouraged to pay all charges at the beginning of the term to avoid late fees or penalties. This is determined one to three weeks before the beginning of the corresponding term.

A late fee will be charged to those students who do not meet their financial obligations on time. This fee varies according to the length of the delay.

Delinquent Account Penalties

Your account is considered past due if charges are not paid in full within the first week of classes. Any student who is still unable to meet payment after this date must contact the administration immediately. If your account remains past due, you will be withdrawn from your classes and your names will not appear on the official class lists, thus rendering the academic work as invalid. However, you remain responsible for all unpaid tuition and fees.

Although we are reluctant to do so, UNIBE has the right to suspend services; to withhold grade reports, transcripts, and graduation; and may deny or cancel registration of any student who has not paid or made arrangements to pay by designated payment deadlines.

Refund Policy

The following refund policy will be applied to students that decide to withdraw from the University after the beginning of a term:

Period of Withdrawal Tuition Refund
First week of classes 75%

Beyond the first week of classes there will be no refund. The percentage refund is based on the total tuition payment due, not on the amount paid.
